A comment from her boyfriend about her yellowing teeth triggers Lucy to make an appointment for a dental checkup for the first time in years. During her teeth cleaning with the mysterious yet heavily advertised Big Smiles Dentistry, Lucy's uncertain boundaries for polite, socially-acceptable behavior repeatedly put her perpetual avoidance to the test.
